Exotic Driving Experience features supercars by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Aston Martin, Nissan and Porsche . All cars are paddle shift equipped.

The cars used in the Exotic Driving Experience are all paddle shift equipped. Paddle shift allows the driver to change gears without taking his/her hands off the steering wheel. Paddles are located directly behind the steering wheel, with the up shift paddle on the right (in the 3 o’clock position) and the downshift paddle on the left (in the 9 o’clock position). Cars equipped with paddle shift do not have a clutch pedal and the driver may choose to operate the car in “automatic” mode. In automatic mode the computer controls the gear changes.

All vehicles in the EDE fleet have standard side hinged doors.

Driving Experience Age Restrictions: You must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license to participate in the Driving experience at Walt Disney World® Speedway and Daytona International Speedway; and at least 16 years old at all other locations. Thrill Ride Age Restrictions: You must be at least 14 years old to participate in the Thrill Ride. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Yes. Due to the design of the Lamborghini (Gallardo LP560-4/Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera), and the requirement that all Exotic Driving Experience (EDE) participants wear a helmet, cockpit headroom is limited. Customers over 6’2” may have difficulty comfortably or safely driving or riding in these cars. If the EDE instructor determines that you are unable to safely drive or ride you will be given the opportunity to complete your experience in another car, at the instructor’s discretion.

Absolutely! At the Exotics Course at Walt Disney World® Speedway, we have a specially constructed spectator grandstand viewing area that allows friends and family to see the entire layout of the course. They are welcome to bring video recorders and cameras to help commemorate your experience.

All participants are provided with a regulation helmet. Participants need to wear socks, closed-toe shoes and long pants. NOTE: Long pants are required at our New Jersey Motorsports Park location. Driving participants should also bring their valid drivers license to the track.

Participants should be aware that each of our vehicles is unique; and per location we operate only one of each vehicle offered. We will do everything we can to ensure that each vehicle is available on days that we operate. However, unanticipated maintenance requirements may mean that a particular vehicle is not available on the day of reservation. We will attempt to accommodate all participants with acceptable alternative experiences.

The Driver Release Fee is in lieu of a “crash clause” requiring each participant to commit a certain amount that will be forfeited in the event of an incident/crash. EDE provides that each driver who pays the $35 Driver Release Fee will not be responsible for most damage to the car resulting from an incident/crash at the track. Only in the event that a driver intentionally or negligently fails to follow the clear instructions of the in-car instructor which leads to an incident/crash will EDE seek financial recompense for resulting damage to the vehicle.

Thrill Rides are given on a first come, first served basis, schedule permitting and will be given in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Audi R8 or Porsche 997. The specific Thrill Ride car will be determined at the sole discretion of the driving instructor at time of the ride, based on car availability. No reservations are required. At Walt Disney World® Speedway our Thrill Rides will be offered between 9am and 4pm on the days Exotic Driving Experience is operating and 9am to 4pm at all other locations. There is a $75 fee charged for any cancellations or changes made more than 30 days prior to the experience date. Cancellation or changes made less than 30 days prior to experience data are subject to forfeit the entire amount.
